We present the management of a juvenile open angle glaucoma patient with late onset hypotony in both eyes after trabeculectomy with mitomycin C.A 33 year-old male admitted to our outpatient clinic complaining of decreased vision on both eyes. At presentation he had high intraocular pressures although he was taking multiple medications. Depending on clinical findings of advanced glaucomatous optic nevre damage and visual field defects trabeculectomies with mitomycin C were performed for both eyes. There was no early complication postoperatively. During follow up, hypotony developed in both eyes and cryotherapy was performed to the filtering blebs. 6 months after crytotherapy hypotony on left eye was detected. Argon laser therapy was performed to bleb. For the last 18 months of follow-up period intraocular pressures have been within normal range. Keywords : Mitomycin, ocular hypotony, trabeculectomy
