Intralenticular foreign bodies comprise about 5-10% of all intraocular foreign bodies and can result in serious ocular complications. Intralenticular foreign bodies cause visually significant cataract in almost all cases. The management depends on some factors like size, location and material type. We present a 59 year-old man with an intralenticular metal foreign body in the right eye that underwent lens aspiration with removal of the intralenticular foreign body and insertion of a posterior chamber intraocular lens with 20/20 best-corrected visual acuity during 16 months follow-up. Keywords : Intralenticular foreign body, penetrating eye injury, traumatic cataract
