Posterior capsule opacification (PCO) is the most common postoperative complication of uncomplicated cataract surgery. At present, Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy is the standard method for the treatment of PCO. In this method, fibrotic tissue that covers the visual axis is destructed without any need for intraocular intervention. This treatment has a quite high success rate, but is associated with some complications. In this presentation, we aimed to discuss clinical findings of a case with vitreous prolapse and intraocular lens dislocation after Nd:YAG capsulotomy, application methods of Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy, its potential complications, and their causes. Keywords : Intraocular lens dislocation, Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy, vitreous prolapse
