8 year-old boy presented with decrease of visual acuity in both eyes after the exposure to high volts of electricity six months ago. Visual acuities were 2/10 in both eyes. Slit lamp examination revealed bilateral posterior and anterior subcapsular cataracts. Uneventful bilateral phacoemulsification and surgeries with implantation of posterior chamber intraocular lenses were performed in both eyes. It should be taken into account that electrical injuries to head and neck should be complicated by cataract. It is presented that the surgeries for electrical cataract respond well to surgery. Keywords : Electrical injury, cataract, cataract surgery
